چکیده

Additive manufacturing technology provides a gateway to completely new horizons for producing wide range of components, such as manufacturing, medicine, aerospace, automotive, and space explorations, especially in non-conventional processes. The present study analyzes the influence additive manufactured tool electrochemical micromachining (ECMM) on machining beta titanium alloy. different parameters, applied voltage, electrolytic concentration, duty ratio material removal rate (MRR), overcut, circularity was also analyzed. It inferred that can produce better overcut than bare due its higher corrosion resistance localization effect. remove more owing strong atomic bond metals electrical conductivity.

Machinability evaluation of Titanium alloy in Laser Assisted Turning

The use of titanium and its alloys has increased in various industries recently, because of their superior properties of these alloys. Titanium alloys are generally classified as difficult to machine materials because of their thermo-mechanical properties such as high strength-to-weight ratio and low thermal conductivity. Laser Assisted Machining (LAM) improves the machinability of high strengt...

Comparative MRI compatibility of 316 L stainless steel alloy and nickel-titanium alloy stents.

The initial success of coronary stenting is leading to a proliferation in peripheral stenting. A significant portion of the stents used in a clinical setting are made of 316 low carbon stainless steel (SS). Other alloys that have been used for stent manufacture include tantalum, MP35N, and nickel-titanium (NiTi). The ferromagnetic properties of SS cause the production of artifacts in magnetic r...
